Check-in at our base yard in Hawi is 30 minutes prior to tour times.
Tour consists of 8 ziplines, 2 bridges (1 wooden, 1 suspension), 3 waterfalls and a cantilevered lanai called the “Mac Nut Hut” overlooking a 32’ waterfall.
Locally prepared snacks. Foods include freshly made banana cake, with fresh local fruit kabobs served in a pineapple boat, trail mix, and macadamia nuts to crack and enjoy. Drinks served will be Aloha juice and water.
Cost- $159.00 + Tax per person
Tours are limited to 10 Guests to ensure personal attention. Approximate tour time is 3 to 4 hours. During peak season please make your reservations in advance to assure your space.
We accept Military ID for a Military discount.
We accept Hawaii State ID or Hawaii Drivers License for kama’aina discount.
We do not accept unaccompanied minors.
Weight Requirements:
For the safety of our guides and guests, all participants must be between the weight range of 80 – 270 lbs. Those who fall outside the weight range will not be allowed to ride. No refunds will be given to those who book and weigh outside the weight restrictions. A scale will be provided at the base yard during check in.
Physical requirements:
The Zipline course requires a low to moderate degree of physical strength and stamina. Tour is not recommended for people with Heart Conditions and recent bone/joint injuries. Pregnant women will not be allowed to zipline.
Cancellation/ Weather Policy
Tours go out Rain or Shine. No refunds will be issued due to weather, unless B.I.E.A. Cancels the tour. 48 hour cancellation policy: Any cancellations made within 48 hours will result in a full charge.
What to Bring
Shirts with sleeves (tank tops are not recommended)
Knee length shorts or pants
Closed toe shoes are required (Crocs do not count)
Back pack (we have ones for you to borrow too)
Extra water
Camera and Video cameras
Rain coats are available for rent ($6.00)
What to Expect
Your adventure begins at our base yard in Hawi Where you step foot into our Pinzgauer, A six wheel drive Swiss Army vehicle. You drive down the street for about 10 minutes, then get off the road. Your Guide will throw the Pinzgauer into Six Wheel Drive and you will head up along the North Kohala mountainside for a 30 minute off-road safari. Look carefully, you will probably see wild pigs and wild cows.
Once you are on the course you will hike for about 3 minutes to our first zipline. This is our Keiki line designed to get your “feet wet”; all the rest get longer and higher. After the second Zipline you will cross our hand carved bridge that sits on top of the beautiful waterfall that you are about to zip across.
Three more ziplines will take you to our “Mac Nut Hut”, a cantilevered pavilion that overlooks a 32’ waterfall. Here you will sit back and talk story while cracking fresh macadamia nuts and eating locally made baked goods and organic fruits.
Next you look down upon a beautiful stream full of dancing eddies from our suspension bridge. The last two Ziplines are certain to take your breath away with views of A waterfall, Kohala Lighthouse, and Maui.
You will end the 4 hour tour with another off-road safari down the mountainside with an excellent view of whales playing (seasonally) in the ocean.
